1.

How much do you charge to find a babysitter or nanny?

Part time or occasional placement (less than 30 hours a week) - $50.

Full time placement (more than 30 hours a week) - $100.

Concierge service - we will set up interviews, call references, arrange background checks - $25.

What are the requirements to be a Sitter Savvy babysitter or nanny?

Sitters must be in college or have a college degree. They must have previous babysitting or nanny experience and at least two work related references. Sitters must speak fluent English and be non-smokers. Most importantly they must love children and have a lot of patience!

Do you run background checks on the sitters?

Sitter Savvy does not automatically run background checks. We are happy to run one for an additional fee.

What do Sitter Savvy babysitters and nannies charge?
The rate varies depending on experience and number of children. On average sitters charge between $10-14hr. Rates are set by the parent's and sitter's are made aware of them before expressing interest in a position. Sitter Savvy never takes a share.

What happens of our sitter is sick or cannot work on a certain day?
Sitter Savvy is happy to find you a replacement sitter for no cost when given at least 24 hour notice.

How does the process work?
After filling out the parent form Sitter Savvy contacts all of it's sitters to see who meets all of your needs and is available. We then email all of their resumes to you. Resumes include pictures, contact information, sitter experience, education, references, certifications, and more! You are free to use all of the sitters we send you for NO additional fee! We also offer free backup care for up to six months if your sitter is sick or is not available for a date night. As always, we never charge until you have found a great sitter to use.
